A sad incident occurred in the early hours of this morning, precisely at the Ketu bustop on the Ikorodu road. Eye witnesses disclosed that a trailer carrying a container collided with a commercial bus, and the container it was carrying fell on some vehicles, leaving a few dead. The casualties involved a pupil with his mother while on their way to school. Accident in Ketu, Lagos The FRSC men are at the scene of the accident. The pupil's skull was said to have gushed out as he and his mother were crushed by d fallen container. The bus was mangled while resulting in traffic gridlock inward and outward of ketu, Lagos suburb. The accident is right about now causing serious traffic going into Ikorodu this morning. Culled...

All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, fired back at reports about his medical fitness and educational qualification. He said it was all a ploy by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to distract from the core campaign issues of corruption and incompetent leadership. Am Speechless...this is so disheartening. A newlywed couple were murdered in their home in the suburbs of South Africa, it has been reported. Wamukelwa Memela and Wendy Campbell, who got married this past December 2014, were strangled to death by bandits who only carted away electronic devices, at their home in Bryanston, South Africa recently. According to the father of the deceased husband, Sandile Memela, police investigations carried out so far suggests that his 29 year old son argued with the intruders, who then hit him with a garden tool, dragged him to his bedroom and tied him up along with his wife. After ransacking their house and stealing their electronics, they then murdered the couple. During the commotion, Memela’s cousin who lives in a cottage on the premises – heard noises, but thought the couple were arguing. A 60-year-old bricklayer, Segun Benson, has been arrested for raping a primary six pupil, and damaging her private parts, on Mommoh Street in the Agege area of Lagos State. Punch Newspaper reports that Benson, who has an aged mother, has never been married. After he allegedly ravished the victim, he was said to have sent her out, despite the flow of blood from her private parts. Residents were said to have sighted the victim in a public bathroom writhing in pain. After bleeding from her private parts for a while, the 14-year-old was said to have collapsed. I have been in shock since yesterday evening...I could feel my heart pounding ferociously and hot beads of sweat trickling down from my fore-head...I needed someone to say it wasn't true,I never wanted to believe he was DEAD and GONE FOREVER.
