man from Romania faces manslaughter charges after his pet pit bull terrier killed his mother in a brutal attack. Police say that Emilia Mitroi, 53, was feeding the dog prior to the attack when the pit bull became aggressive. Neighbors found her body tangled up in the animal’s chain, missing its head and right hand with her clothing torn on the ground, according to Mirror. Upon arriving at the scene in Drobeta Turnu Severin, Romania, police used a tranquilizer gun to sedate the dog. Stefan Mitroi, 35, Emilia’s son, owned the pit bull responsible for the attack. A neighbor noted that the dog guarded a house that Stefan was building next door to his mother. The pet has a history of attacking people, according to a police spokesman. “The dog has a history of attacking people and should clearly have been destroyed a long time again and not left in the charge of a woman too old to be able to control it.” Another dog was found at the scene, but police say this dog was a stray and w

A 30-year-old  man, Mr. Moses Ofega is being held for murder at the Ekiti State Police Command. The suspect is allegedly linked to killing of a Fulani herdsman in Ekiti community Ofega, who is being detained at the Police headquarters in Ado Ekiti, had made confessional statements that he shot at the Fulani man by mistake after they engaged in a bout over destruction the deceased’s cattle wreaked on his farm. The alleged murder was committed at Iyemero Ekiti, Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State on March 4, 2015. The suspect was paraded alongside a 36-year-old woman, Mrs Ogidiolu Bukola, who allegedly set her husband ablaze on February 14 and damaged his body, particularly his manhood. A PATIENT waiting for a brain scan had to sleep on a hospital floor for four weeks. Former roofer Michael Collins, 54, was kept on a receiving ward – where patients are supposed to stay for only two days – to wait for an MRI scan he has still not received. And because his head injury left him prone to violent outbursts, it was stripped of all its furniture, including  his bed, leaving him to lie on a mattress on the floor. He was given a chair after three weeks. But it was only when his partner Suzanne Brown contacted the Daily Record that a bed was put back in his room at  Glasgow Royal Infirmary . He has now been moved to the Southern General, which specialises in head injuries. But he is still waiting for his scan to be scheduled.
