Graphic Pic: Man murders Austria-based lover in Edo over unpaid debt

A moderately aged man distinguished as Festus Aimufua has been captured by the Edo State Police Command for the homicide of his Austria-based beau, Rose Aifuwa in the early hours of Christmas day Dec. 25th.

As per National Mirror, Rose had come to Nigeria early not long from now to mark the Christmas and New Year merriments with her family, when she got back in contact with Festus, who she used to date before moving to Austria.
The woman was killed and her corpse dumped out and along Upper Mission Street augmentation around Oando Filling Station in Benin City on Christmas day…(warning – graphic pic bellow)
As per family sources, Mr Festus, a spear parts merchant, is believed to have killed his partner over an unpaid debt running into a large number of Naira which he owed her. The dead woman is said to have dispatched some vehicle spear parts into the nation for him to offer and provide for her cash but he did not pay her.
The police is presently looking into the matter while the pursuit of an accessory of Mr Festus believed to have seen the homicide is on. The matter has since been transferred  to the State Crime Investigation Department (SCID).

Abuja Bomb Suspects Arraigned!!!

One of the masterminds of the October 2, 2015 twin bomb blasts in Kuje and Nyanya, two satellite towns in Abuja has pleaded guilty to one out of the five-count charges preferred against him by the Police. The suspect, Abdulwaheed Nasiru pleaded guilty of illegal possession of items used for manufacturing improvised explosive devices. The other suspects who pleaded not guilty to all the charges are Abdulazeez Muhazab, Ishaka Salihu, Mohammed Jimoh and Abdullahi Nasiru. Having pleaded not guilty to the charges, the prosecutor asked for a date to commence trial and November 17, 2015 was fixed for the commencement of the trial. Lawyer to the accused persons, Nureni Sulyman, who did not oppose the application for an early date to commence trial, however, pleaded with the court to remand the accused persons in prison custody.
